Recently I have happened to
attend a seminar, which was about a topic called "success mantras of life". I
completely failed to understand that how someone can impose their thought, their
experiences on others? Is it really true that a way which had given you a
success (though success has different means for each one of us) will work for
others too?
Lots n lots of questions were
coming in my mind during the seminar's speech However I could control and
didn’t express my feelings over there. And the reason was not doing it - No one
is allowed to disturb that gentleman during speech as Q & A hours were already
announced after speech.
I'm just trying to convey my
opinion and never meant to be antagonist. He had pointed couple of
failures which had turned in to the success point for him. This example is not
the case with a particular speaker but most use the same kind of speech to
convey their opinion (not sure opinion or style). I do see many of those
who are still trying to find out it as a profession and having good skill but
can’t stand on stage because they don’t have any success stories. Another way, it’s
true till a level because “belief needs proof” and in Success Mantras field –
you cannot convenience people until you don’t have milestones. Now, achieving
the Milestone, you have to set your priority and make a plan to reach up to. This
is where most of us fail. Our plan never fails, just we fail to plan.
Plan, this is something which I
have heard utmost in UK. Those people don’t do any work without proper plan and
planning for execution would be again under a plan. The fun of executing the
planned activity get automatically changed in fun and enjoyment rather than
problem and pressure of work – said by one of my immediate manager from
Barclays Bank – Manchester. Planning do reduce the possibility of failure
because it will give you an opportunity to think about your project in depth,
step by step and all the other prospect of success / failure. It’ll give you
the accurate approx. time frame of success, labor and cost. The best part of
planning is – It can be designed by short time meetings.
I, still remember in our initial
days when we used to forget the agenda of the meeting during our meeting
session. We used to forget about the points which needed to be discussed in the
meeting and at last when chair person used to conclude the meeting asking ANY
Question – all nodding their heads in YES mode whereas issues were remain unattended. "SWITCHING ON THE BULB IS IMPORTANT - AS EARLY AS GOOD BUT IT'S NEVER TOO LATE."
